Cairo, 9 December 2025 – NET-Work You project representatives participated in the “Second EU-Egypt Talent Partnership Roundtable”, held on December 7, 2025, at the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the New Administrative Capital. The meeting brought together key stakeholders from the European Commission, EU Member States, and Egyptian authorities to advance legal migration pathways and skills development cooperation between Egypt and the European Union.

The Roundtable served as well as a crucial platform to monitor and accelerate the implementation of Talent Partnership initiatives. 

The participation offered greater visibility for the project. The Project Manager Daniela Palermo presented the project’s innovative approach during the dedicated session on monitoring Talent Partnership projects, alongside other key stakeholders and institutional counterparts including ICMPD, GIZ, AICS Cairo, and ILO.

Being included among the experiences showcased in this context is a confirmation of the approach adopted so far, acknowledged as a good practice within the EU–Egypt cooperation framework. As one of the Migration Partnership Facility (MPF) projects supporting the implementation of the EU-Egypt Talent Partnership, NET-WORK YOU exemplifies the concrete actions being taken to operationalize circular migration. The project’s pioneering model offers 100 young Egyptians traineeship opportunities in green economy, digitalization, and agriculture sectors – directly addressing the skills development priorities highlighted during the EU-Egypt Investment Conference and High-Level meetings.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to reinforce dialogue with institutional and technical partners, supporting the recognition of ongoing efforts and the continuation of project activities.
